- Passed 4th year Semester / 2nd year Graduation
- Passed Graduation
- Passed 6th Semester / 3rd year Eng . Graduation or Equivalent
- Passed Engineering Graduation or Equivalent
- Passed CMA Foundation
- Passed CAT Level - 1
- Passed CA IPCC Inter
- Passed CS Foundation ( CSEET not eligible )
- Passed Post Graduation

3. How to Register for CMA Intermediate ?
You can register in two ways:
- Online Mode: Fill out the registration form on the ICMAI website and upload required documents.
- Postal Mode: Download the form, fill it out, attach documents, and send it to your regional office.
Important Tip : Postal is a preferred option, as you get everything at your doorstep and there is no dependency.
4. What is the Registration Process of CMA Intermediate ?
The students would require to create a login account on the online student registration system before they can submit their applications.
- Go to the Institute website icmai.in
- Click on Students Login link located in the top right corner. This will take you to the Online student registration system login page.
- If you are an existing student, select 1 - Create Login Account (Existing Students). If you are a new applicant select 2 - Create Login Account (New Applicants) If you have already created a login account, please login.
- The students need to create their login account by providing a User ID and password.
- The email address of the students is verified with an OTP and becomes a User ID, and Password needs to be set during account creation process.
- Existing students are to provide their Identification Number / Registration Number and the OTP is sent to their registered email address.
- New students provide their email address to receive the OTP.
- Incase of any problem in the registration process , go to HELPDESK option :
- Login through the Students portal , add the Registration number , DOB, security code.
5. Fees for CMA Intermediate Registration
FEES is to be paid ONLINE.
6. How to get Scholarships in CMA Inter and Who is Eligible for Scholarship ?
Candidates eligible for the above mentioned schemes can apply through Offline Mode by providing all supporting documents.
a) ANNEXURE -1 Revised Scholarship Scheme (waiver) - 2024 for the Economically Challenged-cum Meritorious Students (applicable for Foundation and Intermediate Level students only)
Points to be kept in mind :
- Applications for the Revised Scholarship Scheme for Economically Challenged-cum-Meritorious Students must be submitted in the prescribed form.
- Submit the hard copy of the form, original income proof, self-attested documents, and a Rs. 500/- Demand Draft for Admission/Registration Fee to: The Directorate of Studies, CMA Bhawan, 12, Sudder Street, Kolkata – 700016.
- The Demand Draft should be in favor of ‘The Institute of Cost Accountants of India’ and payable at ‘Kolkata’.
- Ensure all documents are submitted before the cut-off date for the respective term.
- Selected candidates will be notified via email and will receive a fee exemption (excluding the Admission/Registration Fee).
- Non-selected candidates will have their Demand Draft and documents returned and must pay the full course fee for admission/registration.
b) ANNEXURE -II Revised Scholarship Scheme (refund) - 2024 for the Physically Challenged/Differently Abled Students (applicable for Intermediate and Final Level students only)
c) ANNEXURE -III CMA National Scholarship Scheme 2024-25 (applicable for Intermediate Level students only)
7. Documents Required for Registration.
Prepare these documents before starting the registration process:
- Identity Proof: Aadhaar, PAN, or Passport.
- Educational Certificates:
- Attested copies of your Class 10 and Class 12 certificates.
- Graduation degree (if applicable).
- Photographs: Three passport-sized photos.
- Attestation should be done by any of the following: A member of ICMAI, ICAI, or ICSI ,a Gazetted Officer, a college Principal.

Skill training is essential for CMA students to prepare for global challenges and succeed in today’s competitive world and keeps them updated with new technology and processes.To make CMA students future-ready, the Institute has introduced mandatory world-class training programs:
- SAP Finance Power User Training & Certification-60hrs
- Microsoft Training & Certification-40 hrs
- Cambridge Soft Skill Training & Certification- 20 hrs
- E-filing Training & Certification - 20hrs
10. What is the Process of Skill Training ?
The training is conducted online, and attendance is recorded during the sessions.
Recorded Sessions:
Video recorded sessions shall be available for all eligible students.
Accessing Live Classes:
- Students need to download the MS Teams app.
- Login credentials include the registration number, date of birth (DOB), and batch number.
- Live classes can be accessed after logging in.
Assessment Test:
- After completing all the classes, students must take a mandatory assessment test.
- The test can be scheduled at the student’s convenience.
- The Institute sends reminder emails for the assessment test.
Once the test is completed, students can download their training certificate from the Institute's website.
